Chavs

Chavz is a seasoned music producer from Washington State, with over 20 years of experience. His passion for music began at the age of 13, when he saved up to purchase his first console and recording software. Driven by curiosity and creativity, he spent countless hours experimenting with different sounds and instruments, honing his craft.

In 2009, Chavz collaborated with local artists, forming the group YoungCityStarz, and in 2012, they gained momentum by selling CDs and performing at local shows. His growing reputation in Washington soon attracted attention from a wider audience, leading to an opportunity to move to Los Angeles and work for a label under Aftermath Records. There, Chavz produced beats for licensing opportunities and collaborated with artists such as Zendaya, Ray J, Lil Zane, Baby Bash, and B-Real.

Chavz became a prominent figure in the Chicano rap scene after contributing to Cecy B’s album, notably producing the anthem “Mexico” featuring Lil Rob. His versatility as a producer is evident in his work across genres, including Reggaeton, Trap, Latin Trap, Country Trap, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Latin Pop. Today, he continues to create for a wide range of artists, from country and R&B singers to hip-hop and Mexican Regional acts.

With a catalog of over 2,000 beats, Chavz has established himself as a highly adaptable and sought-after producer in the industry.
