Bill Markt

BILL MARKT is a songwriter and editor for the Audio Up team. He is a graduate of the Newhouse School and VPA Music Industry minor program at Syracuse University. In May of 2009, days after graduation, Bill hopped on a plane to New York City where he began working for Jingle Punks in various apartments around the city. 

His work can be heard in projects for NBC’s The Voice, History Channel, MTV, VH1, HGTV, Bravo, MLB Network, the NBA and NFL, Viacom, KFC, Taco Bell, MasterCard, Lenovo, Chevy 100 Years, Pepsi Perfect, Ogilvy, the theme song for Ever After With Jaleel WhiteWillie Creeks – Whiskey Dell, and songs for Uncle Drank played by Will Sasso. Bill holds multiple ASCAP Awards for music in Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and The Voice.

Bill has worked with artists in Nashville, LA, NYC, and Canada such as Jelly Roll, Uncle Kracker, Ashanti, Pia Toscano, Randy Savy, Abby Anderson, Clayton Johnson, Brooke Butler, and Travis Bolt.

Most recently he has been songwriting in Nashville, TN.
